two weeks nirvana

•February 25, 2009 • 1 Comment

definitely one of the most unforgettable day of my life. a friend called me, just a few days ago, and asked if i’d be willing to used an imac for the next two weeks. whoa, stop the press dude! did my ears deceived me?! and “be there in five, pronto!”, is the only thing i could come up with as a reply, :”>

and it just gets better and better, when i found that it was a 24″ imac, running 3.06 ghz intel core 2 duo processor, 4 gb 667 mhz ddr2 sdram, nvidia geforce 8800 gs 512 mb, plus a 500gb hardisk storage. dude, i’m havin’ a ball! (rock)

the guy really knows how to make my day.
heheh.

i was thinking about some color toning yesterday, and realized that it’s been a while since i did some of those. and so i asked a friend to send some of the photographs he took at our last trip to the waterpark, last sunday.

he sent me five of them.
after a couple of hours, here’s what i come up with.

solar eclipse
this was taken while meeting some friends at dakken cafe, last month. went there, and saw everybody’s standing at the entrance, looking up, holding cams. damn, totally forgot about the eclipse, *doh*. luckily there’s a camera in the bag. set it up, and i’m good to go.

it was pretty cloudy, that day.
but i took the shots anyway.

found some interesting photos in the hard drive, taken by wes, showing some friends messing around a chair at “et cetera” a few months ago. and i managed to put all of them in a one big image. this way you can actually use all the similar pictures without being repetitive, and left none behind.

here they are, all in one!

got some free time for the last few days, so i decided to take another minor adjusment on minerva. if you look at the lower hand right of the dock, right next to the toaster icon, you’ll see a new icon of stackdocklet, which i added just a while ago, giving it another taste of macosx leopard, 😀

showing the fan, and the grid view mode of the stacks, here are the screenshots. 🙂

beach & blue sky
start the year with holidays! hehehe 😉
along with seven other companions (onetwothreefourfivesixseven, check!), we took off to the island of dewata, bali. joined by one more person as our personal tour guide, the nine of us cruised that very island right to the east part of it. having that much fun, i got no words to describe., or even where to begin. so, this time i’ll let the pictures speak for themselves, 😀

these were taken by wés, lola, and mé, natürlich.
